　　Ladies and gentlemen,good evening!I fell really honored to stand here and make a speech about my college life.

　　Now collegelife has been about more than a half, i begin to understand that college is a large stage, what belongs to your own; here you are both director and actor, if you dare to try, then the spotlight will call to you all. and what you have to do is try your best to play your role, whatever happens, believe yourself, thats right! when sophomore, is mainly for learning, without fresh at the beginning, holding the muddled attitudes of life and learning. now recalling the university life of freshman: classes, dinners, rest filled up my daily life, i am busy and i think i tried to make my life colorful, however, i got no achievement to show off,i don't know what i was busy with. people always like dream, but the dream is broken again and again when there is no plan to make it come true. so it is the most important to have a plan for your university life, although it need not to be very detailed, it can let you have the target to pursue.

　　Some say mediocre students are similar, not mediocre students each have their own glory. although i dont think my life is brilliant, and failure of comparison but im glad i gain much more than i lost. every one of us dreams of the university halls, in order to come to the palace we experience hardships. now that we have crossed the threshold, so we have a lot of personality in the halls of this dream. college is not a fantasy, not a dream, and certainly not delusional, but our great ideal. as long as we are fighting for. some day we will achieve everything! you will hear maple stream boat, you will see kim laughs, and youll smell the fruit fragrance, because you have been in the harvest season!

　　Amatory love has been a mystery for ages. theres neither a criterion to judge nor a common rule to follow. nobody can tell the exact reasons why love emerges. it is not always because of beauty (the ugly doorkeeper quasimodo in the hunchback of notre dame is loved by the beautiful gypsy girl esmeralda),nor kindness (hitler also has his mistress),nor wisdom ( even the blockhead may sometimes marry a beautiful girl),nor strength (some love starts from sympathy).true love is like getting an electric shock, shaking our soul. it is a sweet dream, a kind of intoxication, indulgence, and endless passion.

　　True love doesnt need a long time to grow up, to make clear the family tree of the other, neither does it needs the time to look ahead and behind again and again. love is not marriage, which usually starts from love, but doesnt always depend on love to maintain. long-lasting marriage can eventually turn into a kind of family love, a kind of companionship which preserves the companion but loses the passion. love is often an wink of the eye, or a smile that hints mutual understanding. in spite of the great distance between them, people may fall in love incidentally. hence the saying “a distant marriage is tied up with a mysterious thread”. love needs passion, and it can stand bumps and stumbles, ups and downs, complaints and blames. when it turns into a pool of water, especially dead water, without any billows or waves, its time for it to die.

　　Its my honor to speak here today, and I am very glad to share my topic with you.Then the topic of my speech today is “Better smile, Better life”.

　　Do you still remember the smiles from someone in your mind？What's your feeling about that？The majority of people are trying to pursue happiness through their lifetime, but what is the root of happiness？I take the strong position that one of the secrets is smile. Smile makes the world go around. It's easier to make new friends through charming and friendly smiles. Smile always creates a good impression. Maybe we cannot remember someone's name after meeting each other for the first time；however, his or her smile impressed us.

　　Smile,how warm the word is! It can make anyone happy, and this happiness is from the bottom of heart. It's not like enthusiastic laughter, but just warm, makes your heart warm. So let us learn to smile to ourselves. Because when you fail, it can make you stand up and work hard again. And we should learn to smile to others. Because everyone has a bad day all his or her life,if you are one of the close friends of them, and you can't help them out of woods on the spur of the moment, what you could do is to show your nice smile at least, trying to comfort them.

　　Smile, so easy, but also so useful. Everyone needs others' smile. When we give others a smile, we will feel happy, too. And smile is a language which is not only rich but also valuable. Smile, of course, is a positive energy,living with a smile, every day will be full of sunshine. Let's smile often, I believe it can make the whole world warm.
